I know it sounds awfull! I thought I wouldn't like it when my friend who learned to make this salad in the Ucraine, told me that she was bringing it to out dinner party. Well, I was amazed! The carrot and garlic salad tastes really good! The only problem is that it is best when EVERYBODY you come in contact with eats it too, because the garlic breath lasts a little more than one can "enjoy it". If you are interested, I'll ask her for the recipe.
