I am planning a baby shower & have decided on an "afternoon tea" Any menu ideas would be appreciated. As of now, I am undecided on what I will serve. Tablescape ideas are welcome, too!!

How about finger sandwiches such as chicken/pine nut; cucumber/mint; ham & parmigiano or smoked salmon & dill cream cheese sandwiches. Perhaps some mini chocolate eclairs and a madeira cake along with some tiny tartlets. Have an assortment of fine teas and if it's hot weather I would serve iced tea offering various flavors.

Thanks for the terrrific finger sandwich combinations. Those sound perfect. Your suggestion of mini eclairs is also something I plan on serving. I found the cutest cookie cutters - teddy bear and teacups, so I will make some cookies using these, too.
