Everyone knows that corned beef is a traditional St. Paddy's day meal. Are there any other appropriate dishes that I could prepare for this holiday?

Green beer. Ok, so technically it's not a food, but it is made out of wheat/oats/barley or some such thing. So, green beer.

I second the green beer idea.

For next year, how about including potatoes in a beef stew? For some reason, that sounds appropriate to me.

Shepherds Pie. Google it, you won't be disappointed. It best resembles a chicken pot pie, but is simpler to make and tastes like beef stew. It's a traditional Irish dish.
