Tangy Fruit Salad
serves 10-12
2-3 Bananas,sliced
1-3 apples, cored and sliced,(not peeled)
1 (20 oz.) can pineapple tidbits, not drained
1 (15 oz.)can fruit cocktail, drained
1(15 oz.)can mandarin oranges, drained and diced
1 (3.4 oz) package vanilla pudding
1 cup pineapple juice or orange juice
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1.Mix juice and pudding together. Add fruit except for apples and bananas, and stir well.Set aside.
2.Put apples and bananas in separate bowl and add 3 tablespoons lemon juice mix well.
3.Drain well and put apples and bananas with fruit and pudding mix .(Discard lemon juice now,(it was to keep the apples and bananas fron turning brown).
4.Chill and serve*
*If you start with all ingredients chilled, you can serve after step #3
