Has anyone ever heard of something called "The Pizza Stone". My girlfriend just received one as a gift, and it definitely is interesting, but I'm not sure what to make of it yet.
i think its a baking stone that should be placed on the lowest oven shelf and preheated with the oven. once it is pre-heated, the stone evenly transfers intense heat to the food being cooked, ensuring a particularly crisply baked base. though i have never used one myself.
