Default Cherry pitter

Can anyone recommend a cherry pitter? I have a hand-held device that just doesn't do the trick. The one I have takes so long to do each cherry, it's not even woth using. Besides that, when I pit cherries with it - the juice squirts everywhere. Any advice would be appreciated!!
