I recently purchased these to use with my non-stick pans. Manufacturer claims they are heat resistant to 600 degrees. I haven't yet tested them while grilling, though. They have been terrific for stovetop cooking. Has anyone else tried these?

My niece bought me a pair of these. Not sure if they are silicone tipped though but they are soft enough that they won't scratch my non-stick pans. I think they are a great invention.

I love these! For someone like me who is a wreck in the kitchen, they come in handy and serve their purpose!

Sounds like I need a set of these, since we just melted two of our plastic tongs this weekend. Oops!

I have a set and I do use them when grilling as well as with my non-stick pans in the kitchen. They work just fine for me in both scenarios. I especially like them when I am grilling vegetables like corn on the cob.

LOL take heart everyone! It is a sign of greatness when you have an occasional disaster in the kitchen. The only way to avoid the these once in a while situations is to shut it down and never go in there.

Apparently that's what I did. From Dec. 17 until March 15, I had not used the stove!
