This Lasagne recipe doesn't give instructions for making the "Meat Sauce" and, I'm looking for a nice Tomato Meat Sauce that is hothothot so if you have a good one, PM me and let me know!

Tomato Meat Sauce
3 Tablespoons olive oil
1 pound ground beef
1 pound lasagne noodles, cooked and drained
3/4 pound mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced
2 hard-cooked eggs, sliced
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 cup ricotta

1) prepare sauce, allowing 4.5 hours for cooking

2) Heat olive oil in skillet. Add ground beef and cook until browned, separating into small pieces.

3) Spread 1/2 cup sauce in a 2-quart baking dish. Top with a layer of noodles and half the mozzarella cheese. Spread half the ground beef and half the egg slices on top. Sprinkle on half the Parmesan cheese and 1/4 teaspoon pepper. Top with 1/2 cup ricotta.

4)Beginning with sauce, repeat layering, ending with ricotta. Top ricotta with 1/2 cup sauce. Arrange over this the remaining lasagne noodles. Top with more sauce.

5) Bake at 350 degrees about 30 minutes, or until mixture is bubbling. let stand 5 to 10 minutes to set the layers. Cut in squares and serve toped with remaining sauce.

Serves 6 to 8

This is in response to your question about a hothothot sauce for our lasagna. I think you should just make your usual lasagna sauce and sprinkle CRUSHED RED PEPPER FLAKES into the sauce while it is cooking to achieve the desired level of hothothot you want.
