Stuffed Manicotti

6 to 8
servings

1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 lb turkey sauage
1 small onion chopped
1 tablespoon of Italian seasoning
12 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese (3 cups)
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1/2 tablespoons oregano
2 (26 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce (I like Ragu roasted garlic)
7 pieces mozzarella string cheese(halved longways)
1 (8 ounce) package manicotti (14 pieces)

1.Spread 1 jar of sauce in the bottom of a 9x13 pan.
2.Combine first 8 ingredients together in a bowl.
3.stuff each shell with a piece of the string cheese.
4.Take shells and stuff with the meat mixture, stuff each shell with a piece of the string cheese first..
5.Place shells in pan and pour remaining jar of sauce over shells.
6.Bake at 350 for 45 minutes, remove from the oven and top with mozzeralla cheese. Return to oven and bake and additional 15 minutes.
7.Remove and enjoy.

Goes real good with a tossed salad and garlic bread
