MURGH KARI
Chicken Curry with Tomatoes
Ingredients:
750 GMS chicken
4 medium chopped onions
2 tbsp. curry powder
1/2 cup cooking oil
1 cup tomato puree
2 tsp. salt
3/4 cup hot water
.
Method
1.In a pan cook onions and curry powder in oil for 10 to 15 minutes.
2.Add tomato puree and salt. Add the chicken to it.
3.Cook, uncovered, over medium heat, turning frequently until sauce becomes quite dry and chicken becomes tender.
4.Add hot water, cover the pan, and cook over low heat for 5 minutes.
Serve with:
Goes very well with Tandoori roti
