Hello everyone!
My name is Deborah and I feel very lucky to have found this forum, it seems like it is quickly becoming an exciting place to share food knowledge!
I graduated from culinary school in 1994 and worked in both restaurant and high-volume catering kitchens for 8 years working my way up to sous chef of an established catering company in lower Manhattan. When it was time to start a family, I "left" the business as a professional but continued to cultivate my love of cooking. Now, I teach both private and group cooking classes in my home state of Connecticut and love sharing my knowledge and teaching home cooks of all skill levels.
