Hi,
Looking forward to learning new techniques and some old favorites. I love to cook, hike, read, spend time outdoors and garden. I really enjoy using what I grow. I collect cookbooks (especially the old ones) and I like to experiment and make up my own recipes.
During these cold winter months I make a lot of soups/stews so if anyone has a recipe for either that is worth sharing, bring it on.
Thanks.

Welcome to the forum. I hope you can add some of your own recipes to the Recipes section of the forum.

Found this link on another cooking forum and thought you might be interested since you like the older cookbooks. When you get there just click on 'Browse the Collection" on the top menu and you can view and download a nice range of old cookbooks. It's a fantastic site.

Welcome to ChefClub. I like your comment about growing your own ingredients. I'm hoping to expand my spice garden this year and it's so fun to bring food directly from your garden into the kitchen! Now THATS what I call FRESH!
