Does anyone here cook up anything special for Valentine's Day? This year I made my significant other a TON of tiny heart sour cream cut-out cookies, frosted them with a simple white frosting, then lettered them individuallly with decorating gel to spell out a message.

Cute idea, Four Bear!! I'm sure your "Valentine" loved the cookies. I made a special dinner for my family - a few of their favorite dishes. For dessert, I made individual heart cakes and served them with ice cream. Couldn't get to the market because of all the snow so had to work with what was in my pantry.

I made a nice dinner for my husband and I. And for a treat I made small cheese cakes that were shaped like hearts. It was really nice.

I never thought of making individual cakes. It sounds like a very cute thing to do! Maybe I'll try those next year.
