I bought this today and it is great. It has various food recipes and crafts for kids. Check it out as it's a great way to spend time with kids and Cheerios are pretty healthy!!

Do they happen to have a recipe for something like Rice Krispy treats, but with Cheerios instead? If so, let me know!

That sounds good. I buy the multi-grain cheerios.

I think that all the flavoured varieties are whole grain too, aren't they?

I know that cheerios is healthy and good for you, I just never knew there was a cookbook, are there really that much recipes that you can make with the cereal? I will check it out sometime.

In case anyone is wondering, I wanted to see the "actual book" and found it on Amazon here: Amazon.com: The Cheerios Cookbook : Tasty Treats and Clever Crafts for Kids: Books: Betty Crocker Editors

Not sure if that's the one you're reffering to but that is a pretty neat little book!

CHEERIOS TREATS

1/4 c. butter
8 cups Cheerios
1 10 oz bag of marshmallows

In large saucepan, melt butter. Add marshmallows and stir until melted and blended with the butter.

Remove from heat and add Cheerios. Mix until evenly coated.

Scoop into 13x9x2 greased pan. Cool for an hour or two, cut into small squares and enjoy!
