Chocolate Spice Drop Cookies

2 Cups sifted flour
½ Cup shortening
1 Cup sugar
¼ tsp. ground cloves
½ tsp. ground nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
¾ tsp. baking powder
¾ tsp. baking soda
¼ Cup ground pecans
¼ Cup cocoa powder
1 Cup milk

Frosting:
2 Cups powdered sugar
¾ tsp. shortening
3 TB. evaporated milk
2 TB. warm water
¼ tsp. vanilla or almond extract

Preheat oven to 350°. Sift the flour into a large bowl. Cut the shortening in with a knife. Add sugar, cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa and nuts. Mix well. Add milk gradually and mix thoroughly. Drop dough by the teaspoon 1½ inches apart on a large, greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 8-10 minutes. Let cookies cool before frosting.

Frosting:
Mix all of the ingredients together until smooth. Frost cooled cookies.

Prep. time: 20 minutes
Baking time: 8-10 minutes per batch
Yield: 6 dozen

chocolate rolls

Ingredients

300 grams marie buiscuits
1 tin of condenced milk
4 table spoon of cream
half butter/margirine
5 table spoon coco powder
half cup milk
sugar(if you want otherwise condensed milk makes it quite sweet)

Method
crush the buiscuits and add the condenced milk and cream in it, then heat a frying pan put butter in it and thn coco powder and milk bring it to boil then add the buiscuit mixture and mix it well roll it and put it into a butter paper, put this chocolate roll in the freezer when it settles then cut it into round shaped busicuits.

an easy recipie 15 mins of work and the best thing is people who dont have an oven can also enjoy it.

chocolate cookies

ingredients
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup margirine or butter
4 tbspns cocoa
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups quaker oats
1 cup coconut
1/2 cup milk

method

in pan mix 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup margirine, 4 tbsps cocoa and 1/2 cup milk. Cook till boiled. Remove from fire, and add quaker oats, nuts, coconut and vanilla. Cook for few minutes till mixed well. Remove from fire, put teaspoonful of mixture on a greased tray and put in the fridge to set

Lemon Cookies

Ingredients

1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup margirine or butter
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
2 tsp grated lemon rind
1 tbsp lemon juice

Method

sift dry ingredients, cream margirine and sugar, beat one egg and mix, add flour, lemon rind and lemon juice, make a dough, chill for 1 hour. Roll into balls, dip in sugar, and take at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes.

Praline Cookies


1/2 cup margarine
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
2/3 cup sifted dark brown sugar, firmly packed
1 egg, unbeaten
1 cup sifted all purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 cup chopped pecans


Let margarine soften in mixing bowl. Add vanilla, brown sugar and egg; beat until smooth. Sift flour with cream of tartar; add to first mixture with nuts; mix well. Measure out level teaspoon of dough on greased baking sheets. Bake at 325 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Remove while hot.

Here is my Holiday cookies reicpe. It call Rum Chocolate Crinkles
4 eggs
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 teaspoon bakign powder
3 teaspoon vanill extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup dark
3 cups sifted powder sugar
In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs, sugar, brown sugar, butter, baking powder,
and vanilla. Beat with an electric mixer until combine. cocoa powder and rum. mix well. cover and chill for 1 hour. Sharpe dough into 2 -ich balls. roll balls in powder sugar to coat generously. Place balls 1-inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in a 375 oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are set and top are crackled. transfer to a wire rack and cool if desired, sprinkle more powder sugar on top.
