And the winner is....
COOKMEISTER13 with the BUFFALO CHICKEN DIP!
A real crowd pleaser and very easy to prepare which made it perfect for a Super Bowl appetizer. Make sure to have lots of celery sticks on hand! We served this in a crock pot set at low.
A few notes on the dishes we prepared for runner up entries:
QUESO FUNDIDO...
Good flavor and easy to prepare for a crowd. Would also be good served with slices of French Baguette.
CHICKEN SATAY...
While the marinade was tasty, we felt the peanut sauce was a bit too strong. We've suggested our own little sauce you might try instead:
2 Tbsp peanut butter
2 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp sesame oil
2 green onions, chopped
2 arlic cloves
1-2 Tbsp fresh lemon or lime juice (add desired amount to taste)
1 Tbsp brown sugar
Place all ingredients in food processor until blended
GRILLED PANCETTA WRAPPED SHRIMP...
Great taste!! A bit too labor intensive for large SuperBowl crowd.
STUFFED JALAPENO PEPPERS...
Must refrigerate these until ready to serve.
