You might notice the picture next to my username and you also may have some questions about it. So....

What is an avatar and how do I get one?
It is a picture that is used as your personal "symbol". All you have to do is go to the User Control Panel, click Edit Avatar on the left hand side, click "Custom Avatar" and select the picture you'd like to use.

It can be a picture of you, somehting you like, something funny... ANYTHING you want... it will become part of your "personality" on ChefClub!

What is Old Bay?
I'm from Baltimore, Maryland and Old Bay is the areas trademark seasoning that is used on the famously delicious Maryland Crabs. But, Marylanders are known to put Old Bay on so much more... mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, popcorn... you name it. If you haven't tried it yet.. check it out.

I know there was a request for MORE PICTURES and personally, I'll start taking pictures of the meals I cook once I get settled in (I just moved). But... custom avatars are a great way to add some graphics, life and personality to the site and our members.

Have fun!

I remember that seasoning because it was on sale via an infomercial time ago and it is really tasty with roasted chicken.

About avatars sounds like a cool and original idea, you say it all, part of our personality here, but sadly I was unable to set mine

Got this message:

Avatars are small graphics that are displayed under your username whenever you post.
[·]Do not use an avatar
Note: if you have a custom avatar selecting this option will delete it.
"Do not use an avatar" is checked and I can't unckeck it.
