Who are your favorite TV Chefs?

I love Duff Goldman from Charm City Cakes... he has a show at night on the Food Network but if you look at some of the cakes he makes it is amazing... they are basically pure artistic masterpieces! I think he has a personal website at CharmCityCakes.com

My favorite celebrity chef is Mario Batali because of his versatility and skill level. Before Iron Chef America he was only known to cook Italian influenced dishes. ICA has shown that Mario's skill level is very wide ranged as he's showcased Asian, Latin, Southwestern, African, and other flavors in his dishes.

You know how to pose a tough question I will give you that. I am not really a big fan of TV chefs so to speak but with that said my favorite one would most likely be Emeril Lagasse. I will agree with the Ironchef on Batalli though I think the show has shown people that he has a great talent for combining Italian flavors with various other styles of cooking that make for great tasting dishes.

I quite like Delia. Not sure whether she is shown on US tv but I love her recipes.

Here in Berlin they show a brittish guy that is tall and very good looking, and he goes with his crew to a supermarket and right there they choose a person who is buying and offer to make dinner for them. They buy the ingredients, the crew comes to the house and voilá! great food cooked by a professional in your own home. The funny part is to see when "usually" the husband comes home and finds all those people there. I have no idea what is the name of the show, because I always see it when it has already started! And it is dubt into German.

The problem I have with alot of the chefs on TV is that they use so much BUTTER!! Most them prepare foods that look and sound really great, but they really are not healthful for the most part. An occasional splurge is fine - but to eat like this everyday - just wouldn't work for me.

My favorite would have to be Emeril. I just love watching him cook. I do like the cakes that City cakes makes. They are awesome.

There's a British cooking show called "Ready Steady Cook" that's half game show - lots of fun to watch!
