My favlor hoiday recipe is butter turkey. very easy recipe.
1 8 to 10 pound raw turkey
1 pound cold butter cut up in small pieces
1/2 cup chopped parsley
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup sweet brandy or sweet wine
2 cup cut-up fresh apple
clean turkey; wripe dry; mix butter, parlsey, onion and brandy; mix well. rub butter mixture over and under skin of turkey. place turkey in a lined roast pan; Place apple in side of turkey; covered. bake 350F for 2 hours; uncovered and bake unti done. keep brushing the buttter mixture over turkey during the last hour of cooking.
